Casting Crowns

Well, for all of you that missed the concert - man did you guys miss out. This was unlike any concert that I have ever been too - it was remarkable. They had the words up on the screen the whole time (which made it feel more like a worship service than a concert), and more importantly they basically had a sermon that they then used their songs for emphasis. I was very impressed with their attitudes and their desire for Jesus Christ, you knew for sure that they were there for his glory only.

If they ever come back up this way - make sure to see them - they were awesome.

Casting Crowns Concert

Alright, the tickets have been purchased for those that told us they were going. The concert is at 7 PM and the doors open up at 6 PM. So, all of those that are going need to be at the church by 5 PM. Anyone else is welcome to come - but you'll have to take your chances on the tickets.

Bowling - Singles Win!

Well, we went bowling at North Bowl, in Wasilla, Alaska. We had a great time, and for those of you that couldn't go - you really missed out - and we hope that you can go next time.

Team "Single" (Caitlyn, Rebecca, Jacob, Burlin) really showed team "Married" (Greg, Karen, Rachel) there mad skills in the bowling area. Jacob even had a string of 4 strikes making a comeback by the Whitworths almost impossible. Great game guys, and God Bless you guys for your fellowship.

Moose Dropping Festival

Hey Guys,

Karen and I will be away this weekend at the Moose Dropping Festival trying to sell and promote Karen's art work; so, in my stead I have left the class to Brian Garren. Hatcher's Pass Hike

5 of us from the class went hiking in Hatcher's Pass on July 5, 2008. We went all over the place, from the old mine town to the top of the opposite mountain - we did a lot of hiking. You can see photos from the hike in the slide show above, or you can view the whole web album HERE.

Hey Guys,

I thought that starting a blog would be a great way for all of us to stay connected and current on what is happening with our Sunday School from week to week. Mainly because so many of our members are only with us for a certain period of time, I want them to feel as though they are still a part of our College and Career class even though they may not be able to come to every class or event. I plan on posting weekly devotions or memory verses, nothing too intense as my time is very limited, but I want our group to grow both in number and strength - and it will only happen if we do something about it.
